Funnyman Alan could be seen stumbling across the room in the clip as Paul filmed his rambunctious carryings-on.

He added on his post: ‘#HESNUTSBUTILOVEHIM’.

It comes after the couple reunited to spend ‘one last afternoon’ with their beloved red setter dog Bev before she passed away last week.

The couple, who were together for fourteen years, announced their separation in January following Paul’s conviction for drink-driving.

But Paul revealed the duo comforted their pet together before making the ‘hardest decision to make our last act of love and let our Bev go.’

‘We spent her last afternoon altogether in the garden of my new home, laughing, chatting and reminiscing on how much joy she brought to our lives, which is what I wanted her to feel and share.

‘For all you pet owners out there, give them a kiss and hold them tight and tell them you love them. RIP my angel.’

He ended the caption: ‘Love always, (Strict) Daddy.’

Alan and Paul were married in 2018, with his close pal Adele getting ordained so she could conduct the ceremony.

The pair’s split was announced in January with a spokesperson saying in a statement: ‘After 13 years as a couple and three years of marriage, Alan Carr and Paul Drayton would like to announce they are separating.

‘They have jointly and amicably made the difficult decision to divorce and go their separate ways. We request that their privacy is respected at this sensitive time.’

Alan previously spoke about dogs Bev and Joyce, telling Now To Love, the foirmwer couple spoiled their pooches rotten, often taking them on road trips down to the Brighton coast.

‘Our days revolve around the dogs, he said at the time. ‘We’re like those parents who move across the country so their kids can go to the best school.’

Paul and his mum feature in show Yap, Yap, Yap, much Alan’s his glee.

He said: ‘I told them if they want all these nice things to continue – posh meals, nice shoes, mum’s conservatory – then they have to be part of my show!’
