But they’ll need to maximise every ounce of that home advantage against a Newcastle side who’ve forgotten how to lose.

A 0-0 draw against Leeds on New Year’s Eve brought an end to Newcastle’s run of six straight league victories.

However, Eddie Howe’s side still boast their longest Premier League unbeaten streak following a run of 12 games since a 2-1 defeat at Liverpool on 31 August.
