How to evolve Hisuian Growlithe into Hisuian Arcanine

Hisuian Arcanine plays a major role in Legends: Arceus as the third noble fight. It also gains the Rock typing over its Kantonian form.

Despite the new typing, Growlithe still evolves via the Fire Stone. As there are no Kantonian puppies in Legends: Arceus, this is the only Arcanine you can get.

How to evolve Bergmite into Hisuian Avalugg

Hisuian Avalugg is the star of the fifth noble fight and gains the rock typing over its Kalosian form.

How to evolve Basculin into Basculegion

Basculegion is a completely new Water/Ghost Pokémon to the franchise and your go to ride Pokémon when you want to take to the seas.

To evolve your Basculin into Basculegion, you must take 294 hit points in recoil damage from the moves Wave Crash and Double-Edge.

It is important that you survive the fight where you take the recoil damage.

If your Basculin ends up fainting in-battle then the recoil damage taken won’t count towards your evolution total. How to evolve Rufflet into Hisuian Braviary

The Hisuian version of Braviary is Psychic/Flying type rather than Normal/Flying, and your ride Pokémon when exploring the skies.

Luckily, it’s easy to get your flying friend. Rufflet evolves at level 54, and when caught in Legends: Arceus will become Hisuian Braviary.

How to evolve Dartrix into Hisuian Decidueye

Rowlett is one of the starters in Legends: Arceus, and each of them have a new Hisuian final form.

Dartrix now evolves into Decidueye a little later, at level 36, and is Grass/Fighting rather than Grass/Ghost type.

How to evolve Hisuian Voltorb into Hisuian Electrode

Pokéballs in Hisui are wooden and work using steam, so it’s no surprise that Hisuian Voltorb and Electrode mimic these old fashioned balls.

As the pair are now Electric/Grass type, you can evolve Voltorb using a Leaf Stone rather than waiting until level 30.

How to evolve Goomy into Hisuian Sliggoo and Goodra

While Goomy is still our blobby friend, Sliggoo and Goodra have new forms which have the additional Steel typing.

Goomy will still evolve into Sliggoo at level 40 as usual, but an extra step is needed to evolve into Hisuian Goodra.

Once your Sliggoo has reached level 50, it can only evolve into Goodra if it is raining. Just enter the Pokémon menu and you will see Sliggoo’s evolve button light up in the rain.

How to evolve Scyther into Kleavor

Legends: Arceus adds an alternate evolution for Scyther, the Bug/Rock type Kleavor. You can still evolve into Scizor by using the Metal Coat.

Using the new item Black Augurite on your Scyther will evolve it into Kleavor. This item can be obtained by completing the ‘A Nosepass to Guide the Way’ side quest.

How to evolve Petilil into Hisuian Liligant

The second noble fight, Liligant, looks very different from its usual Unovan form, and the new slim version gains the Fighting type.

It still evolves from Petilil in the same way though. Using a Sun Stone on a Petilil caught in Legends:Arceus will nab you Hisuian Liligant.

How to evolve Hisuian Qwilfish into Overqwil

Not only did Qwilfish get a new Dark/Poison form, but it also got a new evolution in Overqwil.

Qwilfish got a new signature move in Legends: Arceus; Barb Barrage. If Qwilfish uses this move 20 times in Strong Style it’ll be able to evolve into Overqwil.

How to evolve Sneasel into Hisuian Sneasler

In Legends: Arceus there are two Sneasel forms. The Hisuian Fighting/Poison Sneasel is required if you want to own a Sneasler.

Using a Razor Claw in the daytime will net you your Sneasler. Weavile is still in the game, but only evolves from Johtonian Sneasel.

How to evolve Dewott into Hisuian Samurott

Oshawott is another Legends: Arceus starter and its final form Samurott gains the Dark type.

Dewott evolves at the same level no matter where it comes from. At level 36 your Hisuian Dewott will become Water/Dark Samurott.

How to evolve Quilava into Hisuian Typhlosion

While Cyndaquil doesn’t evolve until level 17 in Legends: Arceus, its evolution Quilava still evolves at level 36.

Hisuian Typhlosion gains the Ghost typing and is a dopey little friend.

How to evolve Ursaring into Ursaluna

Ursaluna is one of the harder Pokémon to get in Legends: Arceus as it doesn’t appear in the wild.

Instead you have to evolve your Ursaring which is no easy feat. First you have to acquire the Peat Block, which is Ursaluna’s evolution item.

Then you must wait for a full moon before using it. The best way to do this is sleeping at camp several times until you see that big round moon.

Don’t lose heart, it can take a while.

How to evolve Stantler into Wyrdeer

Normal/Psychic type Wyrdeer is a completely new Pokémon to Legends: Arceus, and the only evolution for Stantler.

You can get your own Wyrdeer by using Stantler’s new signature move Psyshield Bash in Agile Style at least 20 times.

How to evolve Hisuian Zorua into Hisuian Zoroark

Hisuian Zorua was one of the first new forms announced and is now Normal/Ghost type.

If caught within Legends: Arceus, your Zorua will evolve into Hisuian Zoroark at level 30.
