Indian Army SSC Tech 61st Men and 32nd Women Course 2023 notification released, apply on

NEW DELHI: Indian Army has invited applications from unmarried male and unmarried female engineering graduates and also from widows of Indian Armed Forces Defence Personnel who died in harness for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Indian Army for Indian Army 61st SSC (Tech-Men) & 32nd SSC (Tech-Women) 2023 batches.
The course will commence in October 2023 at the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online on the official website – – up to February 9, 2023. All final-year appearing candidates whose final year/final semester exam will be scheduled after October 1, 2023, are not eligible to apply for this course.
Candidates, who have yet to pass their degree examination, will be eligible only if they are studying in the final year of the degree examination.

Indian Army Recruitment 2023: Age Limit (as on 01-10-2023)

Candidates born between 02 Oct 1996 and 01 Oct 2003, both days inclusive.
Selected candidates will be granted Short Service Commission on probation in the rank of Lieutenant from the date of commencement of the course or the date of reporting at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, Tamil Nadu, whichever is later and will be entitled to full pay and allowances admissible to Lieutenant during the training period. Pay & allowances will be paid after the successful completion of training.
Selected candidates will be detailed for training at Officers Training Academy, Chennai according to their position in the final order of merit (engineering stream-wise) up to the number of available vacancies and subject to meeting all eligibility criteria.
Duration of Training- 49 weeks.
Cost of Training
The entire cost of training at OTA is at Government’s expense. In case the Lady/ Gentleman Cadet is withdrawn from the training academy due to reasons other than medical grounds or reasons not beyond his/ her control, he/ she will be liable to refund the cost of training @ Rs 15055/-(as on 2022) and as notified from time to time per week (for the period of candidate’s stay at the Officers Training Academy, Chennai/Cadet Training Wing).
