Kate’s luxe looks rule on Day 2 in Boston

The unsung hero of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s trip to Boston has got to be the Princess of Wales’ wardrobe wrangler. Her Royal Fashionista did not pack light — and it shows.

After Wednesday’s pantsuit-to-dress evolution from Logan Airport to a City Hall meet and greet with Massachusetts’ power players, it was on to a “casual” blue blazer for a Celtics game. The blazer was vintage Chanel. Of course it was.

On Thursday Kate busted out fresh looks to match the itinerary, rocking a Roland Mouret pantsuit in burgundy for a visit to Somerville, teamed with a pink bow blouse by Burberry and Chanel quilted bag. Later, Will and Kate got to experience the joys of a frigid walk along the Harbor in Piers Point. Fortunately, the princess had her brown Alexander McQueen coat to keep her warm. Nothing brings the cozy like couture.

An orange turtleneck and skirt by Gabriela Hearst worn with brown suede boots completed the posh stroll ensemble.

Prince William looked fine.
