MADE In Chelsea star Ashley James has revealed she is pregnant with her second child.
The reality TV star turned DJ, 35, made the sweet announcement on her Instagram page.
She uploaded an adorable video which showed her in a pink dress and holding a baby scan image close to her tummy.
Ashley followed with images of her brandishing a positive pregnancy test while sitting in her pyjamas and sonogram footage.
The Made In Chelsea alum, who is dating Tom Andrews, wrote: “We have some news….!
“I’m excited and nervous to share in equal measure… Baby number 2 coming in 2023.
“This audio makes me cry every single time!
“A little update will be coming on my podcast which will be relaunched tomorrow.”
Mum of one Ashley’s friends and fans were quick to share her celebrations, with stylist Angie Smith writing: “So exciting ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
Ashley’s former MIC co-star Emma Walsh added: “Omggggggggg congrats xxxx.”
Ashley has spoken candidly about the impact of her first pregnancy, where she welcomed son Alfie River, in January 2021.
She told how she felt “made to be a mum and that the tot had helped her combat her “anxiety”.
Speaking in a recent interview, she explained: “I love being a mum, every day I love him more.
“Before he came along, I suffered from anxiety, but now I feel calm and content, as if I was made to be a mum.”
The ex E4 show favourite also shared some details from the birth, admitting that it was harder than the two marathons that she’s run.
She told Hello magazine: “I’ve run two marathons, but giving birth is harder. I was in labour for 18 hours, but Tommy was with me all the way, holding my hand. And when Alfie finally emerged, it was amazing.
“I used to think that I didn’t want children. Now I can’t imagine not wanting a baby or being without him.”
Ashley announced baby Alfie’s arrival last year, posting a sweet snap of his foot on her Instagram page.
Yet the Celebrity Big Brother star has also not shied away from the arguably more taboo discussions of postnatal life, including her battle with incontinence.
She has told how she has struggled with a series of physical side effects – from faecal incontinence to stitches, prolapse and piles.
