Martha Kalifatidis reveals her SHOCKING sunburn and warns against using sunscreen from Europe


She has been lapping up the European summer for weeks.

And while beauty blogger Martha Kalifatidis is always sun smart, she suffered some shocking sunburn over the weekend.

On Sunday, the former Married For At First Sight star revealed the extremely painful-looking burn on her stomach and chest in a selfie.

She pulled down the bottoms of her bikini to show just how bad the burn was, before warning her followers about using the sunscreen in Europe.

The 33-year-old said it was the worst sunburn she’s has ever.

‘I mean the pose is a bit Brittney (sic) but the burn is probably the worst sunburn I’ve ever had,’ she wrote. ‘So bring a sunscreen from home!’

She said her face was flawless after using Naked Sundays, a popular sunscreen created by Channel Seven reporter, Samantha Brett.

Former makeup artist Martha recently offered a look inside her makeup bag – revealing the beauty products that give her her trademark flawless face.

Surprisingly, her ‘favourite foundation of all time’ is reasonably priced, with the 33-year-old revealing she uses MCo Beauty’s Ultrastay Flawless Foundation, $28.

She also swears by the brand’s popular $22 Instant Camouflage and Contour concealer.

Martha uses two bronzers – Charlotte Tilbury’s airbrush bronzer, which retails for $75, and Nars Sheer Glow foundation, $70, in a deep shade.

The brunette bombshell also support the concept of ‘beauty from within’, saying she can’t live without her Chinese herbs.

Martha recently said she’s ‘ashamed’ to admit to what she does for a living Down Under – while in Europe and the USA, she feels more respected for her online career as an influencer.   

‘In Australia it’s constantly s**t on. Being an influencer is dirty,’ she wrote in an Instagram Stories post. 

‘Every time I travel and people ask me what I do I’m so embarrassed to even say it, because I’ve been conditioned to be ashamed,’ she went on.  

‘In Europe and the States it’s so well received, They see it as entrepreneurial.’

Martha continued: ‘I studied to be a nurse, I know what hard work is. I know how good I have it.

‘I have the luxury to work from anywhere and any time (well not really any time). And sure we get good s**t, but we live under a microscope with thousands of people waiting for us to f**k up so they can all share it and write about it and laugh.’ 

The pint-sized star has amassed over 642,000 Instagram followers since finding fame on MAFS three years ago and has racked up endorsement deals with some of Australia’s biggest brands in the process.
