An Australian influencer has slammed social media users who said she “looks so different” during her first public appearance – stating she’s gained 9kg and the remarks are “damaging”.
Mikaela Testa has amassed millions of followers documenting her life as she travels the world making adult content.
The 22-year-old, who lives at the Gold Coast, Queensland, attended a Black Friday preparty for fashion e-tailer White Fox Boutique on Friday – her first paid collaboration with a brand since finding viral fame.
However, many fans claimed Mikaela “looked different” after a video of her posing against the brand’s media wall was shared on TikTok, prompting her to clap back.
“I’ve had it with the negative comments! Please do not speak on the fact I look different because of my weight gain. It’s damaging! Thank you,” she wrote in the comments section.

In the clip, posted by the Australian fashion brand, Mikaela was seen wearing a racy black dress.
The $59.95 “Look Back At It Midi Dress Black” is made up of a black bodysuit with black glitter mesh that covers the arms, bust and legs.
At the back, the bodysuit has a G-string detail, that flaunts the wearer’s bottom – which Mikaela showed off by twirling for the camera.
“You look stunning,” one follower wrote.
“Queen,” another said.
“You look freaking amazing,” someone else commented.
Mikaela, who recently split from her long-term boyfriend Atis Paul, told fans in the comments section she had gained 9kg recently, prompting many to more defend her against those who said “she looks so different”.
“She looks healthy and happy, that’s all that matters,” one said.
“Let the girl be for god’s sake, she looks gorgeous,” another wrote.
And someone else wrote: “You look freaking amazing! Weight gain or not (read your above comment) you look freaking stunning, wow.”
Others stated their “jaw was on the floor” after seeing the social media star’s racy outfit, with many more stating Mikaela was a “stunner” and adding they “need” her dress.
She wasn’t the only A-list Australian influencer at the White Fox Boutique event with fitness guru Tammy Hembrow also appearing at the exclusive party held on Sydney Harbour.
The mum-of-three wore a futuristic silver crop top and mini skirt which are both set to be released as part of the brand’s “Party Collection” on December 1.
She rocked the metallic outfit with a pair of silver pointed heels and wore her copper locks in loose waves that flowed over her shoulders.
Tammy’s 15.8 million followers went nuts for the look, stating she was “out of this world”.
“So hot,” one said, while another simply wrote: “WOW.”
“AHHHHH so beautiful,” someone else said.
Over 200 guests partied alongside Mikaela and Tammy on The Island to celebrate the brand’s Black Friday sales which kick on November 22.
