SSC GD Constable Application Status 2022 released on ssc.nic.in, admit card soon


NEW DELHI: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the General Duty Constable Recruitment 2022 application status on the regional websites of the Commission.
Candidates, who have applied for the SSC GD Constable examination 2022, can check and download their application status through login on the official regional websites like – SSC KKR Application Status and SSC SR.
The Commission will be conducting the online exam for Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination 2022 from January 10, 2023 to February 14, 2023.
Facility for download of Admit Cards will be provided at the websites of Regional Offices of the Commission as well as on the website of CRPF i.e. http://www.crpf.gov.in. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the websites of the Commission i.e. https://www.ssc.nic.in.

Scheme of Examination:
Computer Based Examination: The Computer based examination will consist of one objective type paper containing 80 questions carrying 2 marks each, with the following composition:

Duration/Time Allowed: 60 minutes
All questions will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type. The computer based examination will be conducted in English and Hindi only.
Note: There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.
Mode of selection:
The recruitment process will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Medical Examination (DME/ RME) and Document Verification.
Candidates scoring following cut-off marks (without adding bonus marks to NCC certificate holders) will be considered eligible for short-listing to the next stage i.e. PET/ PST:
UR: 30%
OBC/EWS: 25%
All other categories: 20%

Step 1: Go to the website of the SSC Region. The links are given in the above table
Step 2: Once the regional website is opened, then click on the ‘Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination, 2022 – Know your Application Status’ link
Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page. On this page, enter your details such as Registration ID and Date of Birth
Step 4: Click on ‘Know the Status of your application’
Step 5: Check whether your application is accepted or not
