Stormzy reportedly got into a dispute with Heathrow airport staff while trying to board a flight to Qatar for the World Cup 2022 final.

The Vossi Bop rapper was apparently hoping to join stars such as David Beckham, Emma Radacanu and Chunkz at Lusail Stadium where the gripping clash between Argentina and France took place on Sunday.

However, footage has emerged of a man who appears to be Stormzy, 29, getting into a row with Qatar Airways staff members.

According to reports, the musician – real name Michael Omari Owuo Jr – arrived at Heathrow terminal four on Saturday morning, hoping to catch a flight at around 8:35am.

In a video clip obtained by The Sun On Sunday, Stormzy is heard saying: ‘The same passport.’

He added while waving it around: ‘I’ve got one passport.’

A source told the publication: ‘It looked like staff were making the point there was some sort of passport issue.

‘He was very frustrated.’

The eyewitness claimed Stormzy left the airport and got into a car making his way out of the terminal.

It’s not the first time Stormzy has run into issues at an airport as he missed his flight out of Düsseldorf, Germany following the MTV EMAs in November.

During his brief return to social media, the Big For Your Boots rapper posted a selfie showing him head in hand, sunglasses on and hood up, which he simply captioned: ‘Missed my flight.’

He then posted a video clip of himself and his entourage at the airport, carrying pillows, as he asked: ‘Are you going to leave me?’

Messing around with his pals, the next video Stormzy shared showed him sprawled lying across all of their laps with a blue blanket and his head resting on a pillow. As he panned the camera to show the full length of his body and back, with his pals giggling, he then brought the phone back to his face and said: ‘Made the flight!’ has reached out to Stormzy’s reps for comment.
